in 1993, The Liquidation Company was initially started to provide
schools and small businesses a full service approach to eliminate
assets while returning maximum profits. Auctions were conducted on
consignors’ sites with TLC bringing all necessary personnel and
equipment to conduct the sale. It didn’t take long for us to
realize a permanent location was needed to properly handle our sellers’,
as well as our buyers’, needs and by 1994 we moved into our location
on Citrus Avenue in Fontana. The warehouse in Fontana was our home
for more than a decade and eventually we grew to such an extent we
extended our home into neighboring lots. Within a few years we foresaw
the need for a website and www.TLCAuctions.com began- a rudimentary
site at first but with many upgrades to follow. Always one to stay
on the forefront of advances in our industry, TLC applied for and
received our E-Waste Collector’s License as soon as the California
Integrated Waste Management Board began offering them.
Through
the years we have added cities, police departments, corporations,
and lending institutions to our extensive list of consignors and
tens of thousands of customers to our ever-expanding list of satisfied
buyers. At TLC Auctions, you are not simply another number in the
system; we care about our customers and consignors, and it is this
personal bond we share that makes our auction company unique in
the modern homogeneous society. We have been a member in good standing
of the National Auctioneers Association since our inception and
employ world-renowned auctioneers to ensure a fair auction. We abide
by the NAA’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice- simply
speaking, you are dealing with a company you can trust.
We
are constantly analyzing feedback from all sources and strive to
stay on the forefront of technology, as well as treat our consignors
and buyers with the respect and attention they deserve. That is
why after many years of planning, we are now ready to embark on,
what we feel, is the most exciting upgrade to TLC Auctions since
we began- beginning January 1, 2008 TLC will launch our online bidding
service. Through meticulous analysis of customer feedback surveys
and consignor interviews, we have combined all the best parts of
an online auction and have simplified the registration and bidding
processes. For those with a question or two, our help menu is second-to-none
and technical support is only a phone call or e-mail away. We know
this will help us better serve both consignors and buyers, as well
as maintain TLC’s position as a leader in the auction world.
Times
and technology may change, but our morals and business practices

TLC's
auction house and offices are located
just north of I-10 and between the I-15 and I-215 at 10012 Citrus
Avenue in Fontana, CA. Our alarmed building includes a sound
system, portable seating and everything necessary to properly display
merchandise. Our auctioneer is second to none!
